Cream of Whatever Soup

This one little recipe has made an incredible difference in the number and frequency of chemicals that I serve my family. I use Cream of Chicken, Cream of Celery, Cream of Whatever soup as the basis of many of my recipes. One day I made the mistake of looking at the ingredient list on the back of that expensive little can! Yikes! I knew I wanted to find a recipe to make my own Cream of Whatever soup at home.

Homemade French Fries

Homemade french fries cut from real potatoes and fried in palm shortening until golden brown. The perfect complement to chicken fried steak or hamburgers. My husband grew up in the south and they fried everything! I grew up in the north. We fried nothing! I about had a heart attack just watching my husband cook chicken fried steak for the first time . I had never seen so much grease in one place at one time. I had never bought a can of Crisco in my life and I think he used about 1/4 a can in one meal! But, it was one of the best tasting meals I ever had in my life! Incredible!
