Amazing Make-Ahead Sweet Roll Minis

Our family first had these delicious sweet roll minis at a friend’s wedding. The caterer, who also happens to be a friend of mine, was gracious enough to give his recipe to me (Thanks, James!).

When I read over the recipe, I was skeptical. I questioned my friend to make sure I was understanding correctly. You pour liquid over these rolls and let it soak in? I couldn’t believe it. I ate these, and they were not soggy. They were incredible!

It’s okay… go ahead… pour that buttery mixture right over the top of them. They won’t be soggy. I promise!

So maybe you are skeptical, too. Just trust me. You really need to try these. They are super easy to assemble. I love having a meal made in the morning that I just pop into the oven at dinner time.

Those crazy afternoons when I am not home but we still want to eat at home… this fits the bill. I understand that they are not the most healthy option, but we are not eating out and there are worse things I could feed my family.

We have found the Hawaiian Sweet Rolls at our local grocery store or at Sam’s Club.  They are pretty easy to find in our area.

You can make these as an appetizer or go ahead and make them for lunch or dinner.  Add a salad or a veggie and you have a meal ready to go.
